Safety and Quality Specialist

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Safety and Quality Specialist to join our team at Clark Contracts Ltd. As a key member of our HSEQ department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued growth and success of our business.
About Us:
Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with six operating divisions. We employ over 230 people across Scotland, offering a competitive salary (approximately £40,000 - £60,000 per annum) and a range of benefits, including career progression opportunities, ongoing training and development, and a contributory personal pension scheme.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with the development and implementation of our HSEQ Management System to ensure compliance with ISO45001, ISO9001, and ISO14001 standards.Work closely with site management to advance planning on quality, site setup, welfare, traffic management, and general HSEQ issues.Review and revise ITPs, risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments for Clark Contracts and sub-contractors, in line with project programmes.Investigate accidents, near misses, and pollution incidents as directed by the HSEQ Manager.Communicate company policies, codes of practice, and quality requirements effectively.To assist in staff, operative, and sub-contractor training on HSEQ matters.Carry out specific assignments as requested by Company Directors or the HSEQ Manager.Requirements:
A broad knowledge of HSE & Q through experience or training.Chartered Member of IOSH or working towards this.Excellent communication and organizational skills.An eye for detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.Hardworking and self-motivated individual.-
