Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Professional to join our team. As a Healthcare Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to implement care plans and assist with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assisting with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  2. Managing saliva/secretions using suction machines
  3. Providing support with PEG feeds and flushes
  4. Monitoring weight due to potential weight loss
  5. Continence care, including bowel and bladder management
  6. Managing skin integrity through regular wound checks and dressing changes
  7. Full assistance with moving and handling, ensuring risk assessments are followed
  8. Anticipating all needs to ensure seamless care delivery
  9. Reassuring and managing distress in individuals
  10. Administering medications via PEG tubes
  11. Monitoring pain levels and administering medication as needed
  12. On-going therapy for management of posture and mobility
  13. Night time needs, including overnight care and support

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' previous experience as a Health Care Assistant (required)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with Brain injury / spinal injury (required)
  • Minimum 1 year's experience with Peg feeding (required)
  • A valid UK driving licence with vehicle (required)
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to vulnerable individuals
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary

Benefits and Working Hours: This role offers on-site parking and 40 - 45 hours of work per week. The hourly rate for this position is £11.44-£12.50, making the estimated annual salary around £23,723 - £25,900.
