Domestic Abuse Specialist

Our client is a specialist charity that provides advocacy services to victims of violence and abuse. They are looking to recruit an IDSVA to support adults who have experienced domestic and/or sexual abuse.
The IDSVA service provides support and advocacy to survivors, helping them navigate the complexities of their situation and access the resources they need to rebuild their lives.
This role is based in Merseyside and involves working with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored support. The successful candidate will have experience working with survivors of abuse and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The salary for this role is £17-19 per hour, dependent on experience. This is a hybrid working position, with regular meetings and check-ins with the team.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing emotional support and advocacy to clients
• Assessing client needs and developing personalized support plans
• Building relationships with other agencies and organizations to ensure seamless referrals and support
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required
