Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers to assess their creditworthiness
  • Chase overdue invoices through various channels, including telephone, email, and letter
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to invoices
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communications with customers
  • Analyse aged debt reports to identify trends and take appropriate action
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer queries and ensure seamless communication
  • Assist in the month-end closing process to ensure accurate financial records
Requirements:
  • Proficient in data entry and accounting software
  • Experience in financial services or accounts payable
  • Strong analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and make informed decisions
  • Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with customers
  • Ability to analyse financial data and make informed decisions
  • Previous experience in telemarketing would be advantageous
