We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality music education to our students, working closely with the Director of Music and other colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities- Teach music to students in Key Stages 3/4, catering to a range of abilities and learning styles.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote musical excellence and creativity.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver music programs that meet the needs of all students.
- Contribute to the development of the music department, including curriculum design and implementation.
- Provide guidance and support to students, including those with special educational needs.
- Relevant degree in Music or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Proven experience in teaching music to students in Key Stages 3/4.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
