About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Educator to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a Music Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality music education to our students, working closely with the Director of Music and other colleagues to develop and implement engaging lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach music to students in Key Stages 3/4, catering to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop and deliver lesson plans that promote musical excellence and creativity.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver music programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Contribute to the development of the music department, including curriculum design and implementation.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, including those with special educational needs.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree in Music or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Proven experience in teaching music to students in Key Stages 3/4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
