Quantity Surveyor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Capstone Property Recruitment. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the full lifecycle of cost management on diverse projects, including residential, office, student accommodation, industrial, and hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration.
  • Undertake financial forecasting, cost reporting, and post-contract cost control.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and variations.
  • Provide expert advice on commercial aspects of projects.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified or close to achieving chartership.
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management across multiple sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
