Paraplanner Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our dynamic wealth management team at RecruitAbility Ltd. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in shaping personalized financial strategies and empowering clients to achieve their long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with advisers, relationship managers, and independently, to construct and develop wealth planning strategies for clients, covering a range of complexity.
  • Ensure strategies are documented within the company's governance and compliance framework.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and monitoring of solutions within the company's governance framework.
  • Identify the impact of any changes in legislation and assess the impact on the group's clients, implementing the appropriate changes to the Wealth Planning Governance policy and formulating solutions for clients.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of the fundamental aspects of wealth planning, including technical and practical knowledge of financial planning and complex investments, custody services, and corporate solutions.
  • Experience of in-house investment management proposition.
  • Qualified to Diploma level 4 (or close to) with the desire to progress to level 6. Other qualifications such as STEP or IMC would be a bonus.
  • Attention to detail is key.
  • You will need to be organized and able to multitask.
  • The ability to look beyond the facts to identify key or underlying issues in complex situations.
Package:
  • Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)
  • Hours: 9am – 5pm Monday - Friday
  • 28 days holiday annually (plus bank holidays)
  • Pension (5% employer contribution)
