Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Adult Nurse to join our Maternity Services team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the midwifery team in providing pre and post-surgical care for women undergoing caesarean sections and other obstetric procedures without direct supervision.

This is a fixed-term contract for 24 months to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will work Monday to Sunday, days and nights, and will be part of a dynamic and experienced team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality and compassionate care to women
  • Work well within a multi-professional team
  • Support the midwifery team in providing pre and post-surgical care
Requirements
  • Professional UK registration (NMC, HPC)
  • Degree-level education or equivalent knowledge and skills
  • Experience of providing care within theatre recovery and/or surgical wards
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
