Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria. This is a permanent position to work full-time hours, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team with the day-to-day running of the kitchen, overseeing portion control, waste management, food preparation, and all procedures. They will also be responsible for stock rotation and ordering, ensuring that all menus and specials boards are up-to-date and accurate.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a qualification in Level 3 Food Safety. They will also have excellent customer service and strong communication skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
