Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Bid Manager to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in securing tendered opportunities and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement winning bid strategies to secure new business opportunities
  • Manage the bid process from start to finish, ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and their teams to support bid development and submission
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including the Design Manager, to ensure seamless bid execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party partners
  • Provide regular progress updates and issue reports to the Head of Business
  • Develop and maintain bid programmes and action plans to ensure successful bid outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform bid strategies
  • Support and mentor junior team members to ensure their growth and development
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in the housing sector, with experience in bid management and tender coordination
  • Strong industry knowledge and understanding of market trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
  • High level of organization and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
