We are seeking an experienced Engineering Facilities Manager to join our team at Alexandrite Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Great Yarmouth asset base and information using the internal SAP EAM system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Great Yarmouth asset base and information using the SAP EAM system.
  • Provide key user support and ensure adherence to internal compliance and external legislation.
  • Plan and create robust preventative maintenance plans, ensuring schedules are in line with operational demands and business asset strategy.
  • Support the development of the wider team and ensure the achievement of engineering KPIs.
  • Ensure the highest standards in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality are at the forefront of all activities.
  • Deliver strategic and local minor capital projects to quality, time, and budget, leading the core project team to ensure effective delivery.
  • Manage permit to work systems and relationships with contractors/third parties via service levels reviews.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an Engineering role, ideally gained in a heavy engineering sector.
  • Ability to manage a small team of skilled engineers.
  • Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering effective asset management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience building and managing relationships with contractors and third parties.
  • Previous experience managing and delivering minor capital projects.
  • Commitment to ensuring Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards are at the forefront of all activities.
