School Maintenance Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled School Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school, including the management of facilities, maintenance, and repairs.
About the JobThe successful candidate will be required to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, ensuring that all facilities are safe and secure. This will involve managing contractors, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
In addition to this, you will be required to assist with decorating, plumbing, and general handy work as needed. You will also be responsible for testing fire alarms and emergency lighting, maintaining records, and ensuring that all legislative processes are met.

Job Requirements- Experience in facilities management or a similar field
- Strong ability to manage facilities and ensure smooth operation of our school
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with DIY, building maintenance, decoration, cleaning, and repairs
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislations
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.
