We are seeking a Dining Services Coordinator to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating our dining services, ensuring that all aspects of food preparation and service are delivered to the highest standard.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with a passion for delivering high-quality food services, who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Dining Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of food service, including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating with kitchen staff.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food/catering industry, with knowledge of therapeutic diets and awareness of confidentiality in an NHS environment. You will also be required to adhere to departmental standards and food hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the logistics of food service, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
  • Manage the operation of cash registers in retail areas, ensuring accurate handling of cash transactions
  • Deliver and collect meal trolleys to wards and departments, ensuring efficient delivery of meals
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in food preparation areas
