Elevator Maintenance Specialist

We are a leading provider of urban mobility solutions, and we're looking for an experienced Elevator Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Portsmouth. As an Elevator Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our clients' escalators across the region.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Servicing and maintaining customer escalators
  • Servicing escalator parts
  • Responding to mechanical failures and breakdowns
  • Carrying out safety checks and risk assessments
  • Planning and managing workload around assigned jobs
  • Maintaining van stock and ordering supplies through our supply chain
  • Recommending parts and equipment that need to be quoted or ordered to keep the escalators compliant
  • Out of hours work on a pro rata basis

Requirements:

  • NVQ3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent qualifications
  • Hold a full UK Driving License and able to travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to use your initiative and work well with others
  • Positive attitude and receptive to change
  • Extremely organised
  • Superior customer-care skills
  • The ability to self-assess and take ownership of personal development
  • An advocate for H&S regulations in the workplace
