About the Job
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Team Lead to join our team at Barchester. As a key member of our facilities team, you'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of property maintenance. You'll work closely with residents, staff, and contractors to deliver excellent maintenance services.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Work closely with contractors to ensure that all work is completed on time and to a high standard
- Develop and manage budgets for maintenance projects
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a way that minimizes disruption to residents and staff

Requirements
- At least one trade skill (e.g. electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
- Proven experience of property maintenance, ideally in a care home setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
- Full UK driving licence
- GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- IT literacy
