Job Title: Sales Engineer - Flow Control Systems

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling a high-quality manufactured range of flow control systems and components for the HVAC sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with design and build consultants, contractors, and M&E consultants to generate specifications and drive sales growth.
  2. Work on commercial projects such as universities, hospitals, hotels, and local authorities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  3. Meet or exceed sales targets, with a turnover target of circa £1.5m-£2m.
  4. Manage existing accounts and develop new business relationships to drive growth and expansion.
  5. Travel nationally to cover sales territory and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  1. Must have a mechanical engineering degree and be proficient in CAD design software.
  2. Ideal candidate will have a BSc degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, or maths.
  3. Strong technical knowledge and ability to understand consultants' drawings and make recommendations.
  4. Self-starter with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a hunger to sell.
