Job Title: PLC Control Systems Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation dedicated to national defence, is actively looking to expand their PLC Control Systems Engineering team and as such are looking for a talented Control Systems Engineer or software engineer to work on advanced technologies and contribute to significant national defence programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce technical documentation in line with company and customer procedures.
  • Specify and design PLC control systems solutions.
  • Develop PLC software using various design formats such as block diagrams, flow charts, or pseudo code.
  • Validate software designs through comprehensive analysis and testing.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and relevant statutory requirements.
Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in the design and integration of large-scale PLC control systems.
  • Familiarity with Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems.

Salary range: £53,000 - 76,000 (depending on experience) + benefits. Remote working options available.
