Control Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Meritus Talent. As a key member of our Control Systems Software team, you will be responsible for delivering software design and development expertise for maritime control and instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specify and design solutions for PLC control systems
  • Develop PLC software from multiple design formats such as Block Diagrams, Flow Charts or Pseudo Code
  • Validate software designs through analysis and test
  • Work on greenfield projects, with experience of the full project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Siemens or Rockwell PLC systems
  • Experience of Fault Tolerant, High Availability and Safety Integrated PLC Solutions
  • Experience of Industrial Communication protocols and networking standards
  • Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering or a related discipline
