About the Position

We are looking for a qualified and experienced teaching assistant to support a Year 1 student with Autism in a mainstream primary school in West Bromwich.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide 1-to-1 support to the student, facilitating their access to the curriculum and promoting social interaction.
  • To develop and implement individualised learning plans in collaboration with the class teacher and other professionals.
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with Autism and other special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per year, based on experience.
