Experienced Nuclear Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and substantiating mechanical handling or robotic handling systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and substantiate mechanical handling or robotic handling systems and equipment
- Work with clients to understand their issues, goals, and processes
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time, quality, and cost
Requirements:
- Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification)
- Experience in writing accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports & specifications
- Comfortable with engaging with existing and prospective clients
- Experience working in regulated engineering environments and following appropriate Quality Assurance processes
Desirable Criteria:
- Nuclear industry experience
- Specification, design, and implementation of mechanical handling equipment/heavy machinery
- Specification, design and implementation of automation or robotic technologies
- Working, or authoring bids, within a safety critical and heavily regulated environment
