Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at NES Fircroft. As an integral part of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our plant and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and repairing malfunctions on heavy industrial equipment. You will also be required to perform routine preventative maintenance, make mechanical plant modifications, and work effectively in a high-hazard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Diagnostics and repair of malfunctions on heavy industrial equipment
  • Perform workshop repairs and overhauls
  • Make mechanical plant modifications as required

Requirements:

  • HNC level or equivalent in mechanical maintenance
  • Mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent with several years of experience
  • Experience working in high hazard environments
  • Familiarity with change management processes and reading drawings

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
