Job Summary

The Ministry of Defence is seeking a skilled Publications Editor to join its team. As a key member of the Royal School of Artillery, you will play a vital role in developing future publications that set the standard for Royal Artillery Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide editorial development services for the production and maintenance of Royal Artillery publications and supporting documents.
  • Work closely with military personnel to collate and format publications, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Implement changes and updates to publications, and publish new versions as approved.
  • Manage records of current amendments and control Army Codes for Royal Artillery Publications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A keen eye for detail and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Publisher.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
