Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve marketing materials, including financial promotions, advertisements, and sales literature, to ensure compliance with company policies, FCA, MAS, and ESMA rules, and other global regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking regulatory developments in EMEA and APAC, and communicate changes to the marketing team.
  • Provide advice and training to businesses and Compliance colleagues on regulatory matters related to marketing issues.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective compliance strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks associated with marketing activities.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in compliance-related roles, with a focus on marketing materials review.
  • Strong knowledge of European and U.S. regulatory requirements, including ESMA Marketing Guidelines, SEC New Marketing Rule, and FINRA marketing regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
