Job Title: Compliance Marketing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Marketing Specialist to join our team at Brookfield Asset Management, Inc. in London. As a key member of our Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our marketing materials comply with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve marketing materials, including financial promotions, advertisements, and sales literature, to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking regulatory developments in EMEA and APAC regions, and communicate changes to the team.
  • Provide advice and training to colleagues on regulatory matters related to marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with external counsel and compliance service providers to ensure alignment of legal and regulatory approach.
  • Identify and manage legal and reputational risks associated with marketing activities.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in compliance-related roles, with a focus on marketing materials review.
  • Strong understanding of European and U.S. regulatory requirements, including ESMA Marketing Guidelines, SEC New Marketing Rule, and FINRA marketing regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to critically analyze complex regulatory issues.
