Automotive Service Technician – Marshall Motor Group

Salary: £35,548 Basic plus uncapped OTE based on individual time saved, team profit, and CSI Bonus
Hours: 45-hour working week with weekends on a rota basis

Position Overview

In this role, you will be an integral part of a skilled team, delivering exceptional service for one of our renowned brands within our modern facilities. Comprehensive manufacturer training will be provided, ensuring you remain current with the latest advancements in automotive technology.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work efficiently
  • A collaborative team member who thrives in structured environments
  • A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized certification, ideally at level 3, though level 2 qualifications will also be considered
  • MOT certification is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided
  • Highly motivated, organized, and committed to maintaining Health & Safety standards
  • Proficient with technology and comfortable using software applications

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform servicing and maintenance on a variety of vehicles within the brand
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, including warranty work as per brand guidelines
  • Conduct Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties if qualified
  • Complete job cards and electronic documentation on franchise platforms
  • Execute electronic vehicle health checks (eVHC's)
  • Provide support to Apprentice Technicians as needed
