Automotive Service Technician – Marshall Motor Group
Salary: £35,548 Basic plus uncapped OTE based on individual performance metrics
Hours: 45-hour work week with weekend shifts on a rotating schedule

Position Overview
As a proficient technician, you will become part of a dedicated team supporting one of our leading automotive brands within our cutting-edge facilities. Comprehensive manufacturer training will be provided, eliminating the necessity for prior brand-specific experience. You can anticipate ongoing training to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements through both manufacturer programs and our in-house training academy.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work efficiently
- A collaborative team member who adheres to established processes and protocols
- A qualified Vehicle Technician holding an industry-recognized certification, preferably level 3, though level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
- Capability to perform MOT testing is advantageous, though not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided
- Driven, organized, and focused on maintaining Health & Safety standards in the workplace
- Proficient with technology and comfortable using tablet-based software
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct servicing and maintenance on all vehicles within the brand
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, including warranty-approved work as per brand guidelines
- Perform Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)
- Complete job cards and electronic documentation on franchise systems
- Execute electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
- Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians as needed
