Operations Coordinator

Reed is proud to be working with a leading waste management company based in Great Yarmouth, recruiting for the position of Operations Coordinator to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage site administration in line with health and safety, legal compliance, human resources, finance, and operating KPIs.
  • Support the on-site operations manager in managing waste acceptance, including raising and providing relevant documentation/work instructions or coordinating with third-party contractors.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all key site stakeholders through clear and transparent communication.
  • Handle document work and duty of care packs, waste non-conformances, new waste enquiries, and inbound calls from internal and external customers.
  • Communicate and coordinate with on-site and off-site teams.
  • Create invoice trackers, check and issue invoices, deliver waste data, and request customer POs/PO amendments.
  • Communicate with technical assessors regarding new waste items.
  • Prepare month-end accruals and coordinate with finance for month-end reporting.
  • Ensure all critical and relevant information is correctly recorded within business standard workflows, challenge process failures, and implement appropriate corrective action plans.
  • Act as a critical super user for internal processes and tracking systems/databases, driving process and data efficiencies within the business.
Requirements:
  • English at Standard Grade (or equivalent) and Mathematics at Standard Grade (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in computer use and operating systems, including MS Office.
  • Ability to focus on detail and complete administrative duties to tight deadlines.
  • Strong ability to work within a close-knit team environment.
