Job Overview

The North East and Yorkshire School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation is seeking a skilled Project Support Officer to provide temporary family leave cover. As part of a small team responsible for managing a dedicated business planning function, the post-holder will assist in developing a business planning annual cycle and requisite processes.

The role involves supporting the delivery of key national projects and programmes that respond to emergent strategic workforce issues within NHS England.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute towards implementing improvement, innovation, and transformation programmes as outlined in the NHS Long Term Plan.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Provide high-quality project and administrative support, including provision of information and analysis;
  • Arrange and service stakeholder meetings and events;
  • Participate in relevant working groups and projects;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Promote and adopt workforce transformation and innovation across the NHS.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages;
  • Experience of finance and accounting processes to support financial planning;
  • Ability to take information from multiple sources and provide analysis and options.

**Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum**
