About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HCPC registered Psychologist to join our team at Shire Healthcare. As a Psychologist, you will be working with children and young people who present with complex needs, including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, and special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide specialist and evidence-based psychological interventions in a 121 or group setting to pupils and residents.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Clinical, Counselling, Forensic, or Educational Psychologist.
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with complex needs, such as neuro and/or trauma.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £59,500 - £69,800 per annum, paid in 12 equal instalments.
  • A permanent and term-time contract, with 38 weeks of paid leave per year.
