Zoetis, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Management Master Data Specialist to join our team in Lincoln, NE.
Job Summary
The SCM Master Data & Inventory Control Steward will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining site Master Data and Supply Chain analytics for our bustling 1,000 colleague animal health pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply expertise in supply chain principles encompassing manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and distribution.
- Enforce data standards to guarantee accuracy in SAP/ERP and SCM systems.
- Oversee data governance to uphold integrity across platforms, ensuring adherence to master data standards.
- Assist in mass creation or modification of master data for new product launches or process changes.
- Drive initiatives to optimize data management processes and rectify data quality issues.
- Compile and analyze SCM performance metrics for informed decision-making.
- Manage product master data, safety stock levels, and replenishment rules.
- Report updates on RID and distressed inventory to site leadership and finance.
- Support inventory projection processes and optimize warehouse space utilization.
- Analyze material usage variances to identify production model accuracy and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in enterprise-level master data systems with demonstrated ability to handle significant transactions.
- Strong customer focus and clear communication skills.
- Adaptability to dynamic conditions and priorities with a commitment to collaborative problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with databases and database processes.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive outcomes.
Technical Skills Requirements
- Effective problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting inventory data and identifying trends.
- Meticulous attention to detail for maintaining data integrity.
- Knowledge of MPS, MRP, and inventory management principles.
- Decisiveness in making business-appropriate decisions.
- Effective oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and self-motivation to meet deadlines.
