Job Summary

The SCM Master Data & Inventory Control Steward plays a critical role in managing and maintaining site master data and supply chain analytics for a busy 1,000 colleague animal health pharmaceutical manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in supply chain principles, including manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and distribution.
  • Enforce data standards to ensure accuracy in SAP/ERP and SCM systems.
  • Oversee data governance to maintain integrity across platforms, adhering to master data standards.
  • Support project launches, analyzing material usage variances, and managing inventory-related master data elements.
  • Compile and analyze SCM performance metrics for informed decision-making.
  • Manage product master data, safety stock levels, and replenishment rules.
  • Report updates on RID and distressed inventory to site leadership and finance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics, with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in enterprise-level master data systems, with demonstrated ability to handle significant transactions.
  • Strong customer focus and clear communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with databases and database processes.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and drive outcomes.

Technical Skills

  • Effective problem-solving abilities to address discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting inventory data and identifying trends.
