Cost Control Director Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Control Director to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our Controls & Performance team, you will be responsible for leading our cost control efforts on complex projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead teams of cost control professionals on complex projects and programmes.
- Drive continuous improvement in cost control processes to create efficiency and increase benefits to our clients.
- Implement, embed, and roll-out changes to cost control processes.
- Select, implement, administer, and maintain cost control systems and procedures.
- Provide subject matter advice and manage the development of reporting tracking tools.
- Generate cost reports on a regular basis, including evaluation of earned value.
- Define how to build and assure project forecast to account for all residual works.
- Manage and lead the production of cost reports to a defined reporting cycle.
- Provide cost information and subject matter advice to the project team.
Requirements:
- Experience in cost control on complex projects and programmes.
- Practical experience of different cost performance reporting and cost forecasting techniques.
- Practical experience of Earned Value Management (EVM), progress reporting, forecasting, and performance reporting and analysis.
- Practical experience of using MS Excel and other MS applications.
- Experience of interfacing risk with other Project Controls disciplines.
- Experience in leading teams.
