About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager to join our team at the Enfield Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (ECRHTT). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our service users and referrers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the single point of contact for referrals for people in mental health crisis within the London boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.
  • Have managerial accountability for the delivery of quality services for users of the ECRHTT.
  • Assist the team manager with line management and budgetary responsibility for clinicians and admin staff working in CRHTT.
  • Ensure effective triaging and screening of referrals and management of inappropriate referrals.
  • Work closely with trust inpatient wards, DIT, Patient Flow, Psychiatric Liaison Teams, and community services to ensure the best use of resources.
  • Ensure that there are effective support and supervision processes for staff working in ECRHTT.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registration with the NMC as an RMN, or Dip SW, or registered with HPC
  • Evidence of relevant post-registration training
  • Significant experience working within Mental Health Services at Band 6
  • Experience of working within a Mental Health Crisis service
  • Effective screening/triage skills in relation to care needs of service users and their carers
  • Experience of developing and maintaining effective links with external agencies to enhance patient care
Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is able to communicate effectively with patients and their carers, has a flexible approach to work, and is able to work under pressure while remaining calm and maintaining quality. A car driver with access to their own car is also essential.
