Emergency Responder Opportunity

Limetree Retirement Village in Rugby is seeking two dedicated individuals to join our team as Emergency Responders. This role is ideal for those who want to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to emergency calls within the village, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Assess emergency situations and provide appropriate assistance, including administering first aid and basic medical care when necessary.
  • Coordinate with emergency services, such as police, fire department, and ambulance, as required.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff during emergency situations.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
  • Provide moral and emotional support to our residents.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an emergency responder, EMT, or similar role is preferred.
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid is required.
  • Educated to NVQ Level 3.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during stressful situations.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents.
  • Physical ability to respond quickly to emergencies and assist residents as needed.
