Job Description

This is an exciting position for a Graduate Transport Analyst to work on various civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom. As a Civil Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing transportation plans and strategies.

  • You will assist with data collection, including traffic counts, travel surveys, census data, and GIS mapping.
  • Undertake accessibility reviews to understand opportunities for people traveling to/from a site to use active and sustainable travel modes.
  • Estimate the trip generation of a development proposal, the likely mode of travel, and the distribution and assignment of trips across the transport network.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent skills/interest in transport planning.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in quantitative analysis and data presentation (ideally including the use of Excel and ArcGIS).
  • Personal drive and a commitment to learning and professional development.
