Job Description:
SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Assurance Leader to join our team at SGS. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding services related to Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) assurance and sustainability reporting.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a business development strategy to expand CSRD services. You will identify target markets and potential clients needing non-financial reporting services, lead assurance engagements, and maintain a high standard of service delivery. Additionally, you will act as the strategic project lead for CSRD-related work and documentation, providing technical support to affiliates for Non-Financial Disclosures.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of CSRD assurance and adoption, as well as excellent English language skills. Additional European languages are an advantage. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of professional experience in sustainability, auditing, or consulting, with a focus on CSRD and ESG Disclosures. Travel is occasionally required, sometimes at short notice.

Based on industry standards and market rates, we estimate the salary for this role to be around €90,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
