Head of Sales Performance

The Director of Inside Sales is responsible for planning and directing all aspects of the organization's Inside sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. They develop the sales plan to fulfill the growth and revenue goals of the organization. They will be responsible for ensuring maximum sales volume of the organization's products and services as well as managing all aspects of the Inside sales function.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the inside sales organization to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue growth targets by establishing sales goals and holding the team accountable to meeting and exceeding targets.
- Develop a newly invigorated inside sales function with efficient and effective inbound and outbound campaign capabilities.
- Track record of developing, motivating, mentoring, and retaining premier sales teams to meet results-oriented goals.
- Verifiable track record of leading high velocity/transactional sales with deep experience in inside models which are capable of driving HW, SW, and Services growth.
- Clear experience in driving additional revenue through a targeted approach to the SMB market.
- Strategic problem solver with a demonstrable ability to build innovative sales models, combined with the tactical ability to execute.
- Innovate and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams on new products, sales promotion, pricing, new and existing markets, and advertising to drive sales growth.
- Apply strong analytic acumen to develop and use a variety of metrics to evaluate performance, identify opportunities and drive success.
- Produce reviews of sales performance for executive management to assess progress, drive strategic and operational changes, and plan for resource investment.
- Provide Finance with quarterly sales revenue forecasts.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's products and understanding of structure.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Remain current with industry trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated experience in executing strategic plans.
- Previous success building a high performing inside sales organization resulting in significant revenue growth.
- Strong results-oriented leadership presence, someone who can set clear goals, motivate, train, enthusiastically engage others, and drive accountability.
- Ability to learn needs of both on-site and remote employees while driving team performance, monitoring results, and appropriately allocating resources.
- Experience with and knowledge of functional sales tools and infrastructure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works independently as well as in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience; advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of executive leadership experience within Inside Sales for a large, world-class corporation.
The employee will work in a primarily office setting, with occasional visits to the factory floor. The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted, and ventilated. The office noise levels are considered low to moderate. The factory noise levels are considered moderate. If required, PPE will be provided. May require travel up to 50%.
