Service Manager Commissioning Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join our Children's Commissioning and Contract Management team. The successful candidate will lead a team and manage a programme of commissioning with a specific focus on children looked after and care leavers.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement commissioning strategies to meet the needs of children looked after and care leavers.
- Lead a team to develop the children's sufficiency strategy and to develop local provider markets to meet commissioning needs for children looked after and care leavers.
- Work effectively with partners, those with lived experience, commissioned providers and wider stakeholders to deliver excellent, high-quality services which meet the needs of Bradford residents.
- Manage complex and high-value commissioning activities, including strategic planning, the commissioning process, performance monitoring and policy review.

Person Specification- Significant experience of managing complex and high-value commissioning activities.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in strategic planning, the commissioning process, performance monitoring and policy review.
- Ability to work effectively with partners, those with lived experience, commissioned providers and wider stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team.
