About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Howdens Joinery, a leading manufacturer of trade kitchens and joinery products. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the proactive and preventative maintenance of our manufacturing equipment, services, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of high-volume automated manufacturing equipment, including CNC machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and robot systems.
  • Conduct fault finding, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Develop and implement maintenance tasks and schedules to ensure the efficient operation of production lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on manufacturing equipment and maintenance.
