Job Description

As a Finance Officer at CV-Library, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations of our team.

About the Role
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
  • Process payments and receipts, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank statements, identifying any discrepancies or errors.
  • Assist in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Responsibilities
  • First point of contact for routine calls and queries, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Raise payments on the school fund account, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Assist and monitor all school accounts and budgets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Order office equipment and supplies, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Sort bookings for the use of school minibuses, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
Requirements
  • Prior experience working in a finance-based role, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and IT systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to commit to a full-time role, with flexibility to work as part of a dynamic team.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is between £23,500 and £25,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience. You will also receive 7% statutory holiday pay and have access to free child protection and prevent duty training. Please note that this is a temporary position, but there may be opportunities to convert to a permanent role in the future.
