Job Title: Railway CRE Position with Strong Technical Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Railway CRE to join our team in Cambridge and lead our railway project in Eastern England.

This is a full-time, permanent position consisting of work both in the office and on site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong civils background and be able to deliver engineering and technical excellence for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt project technical instructions for Civil Engineering to ensure efficient and safe project methodology.
  • Manage risk assessment and mitigation plan to effectively mitigate technical risks.
  • Ensure integration of installation and commissioning activities to meet client specifications.
  • Support project team with tendering activities to ensure robust estimates and cost-effective implementation strategies.
  • Have five years of relevant experience within civils/construction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in railway projects.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of civil engineering principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum depending on experience.
