Contract Engineering Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced engineer to join our team in Northampton. As a contract engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our operations by maintaining our facilities and equipment to meet food and health and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance engineering, with experience in performing inspections, repairs, and replacements. They should also be able to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard through inspections and repairs
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes as necessary
- Mentor junior engineers and staff
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve operational goals
Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in the Food Industry
- Apprenticeship served in a similar role
- NVQ Level 3 - with 5 years' experience in a similar industry
