Occupational Therapist

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic occupational therapist to join our transdisciplinary team at Ingfield Manor School. As an occupational therapist, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of a strategy promoting function and independence in our students, enabling and supporting their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a strategy promoting function and independence in students, enabling and supporting their learning.
- Implement agreed occupational therapy aims and programmes that reflect the Conductive Education ethos of the school.
- Work as a member of a trans-disciplinary team, conveying occupational therapy skills and roles as part of a trans-disciplinary delivered curriculum.
- Promote function and optimal participation, enabling children and young people to access the curriculum and environment.
- Support the delivery of the curriculum to ensure pupil learning and progress.
- Develop the role of Occupational Therapy within key areas such as active learning, self-care, and assessment and planning of access routes to technology.
Requirements:
- 50 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks).
- Ability to work as part of a transdisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
