Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the North Home Counties region. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites that include Private, Affordable, and Build to Rent residential schemes across the area. This role involves general project coordination and administration, preparation and negotiation of initial site budgets, subcontract procurement and obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation from subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the residential housebuilding sector, a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication and attention to detail, familiarity with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards, and the ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Providing budget control for a mix of triple tenure sites
• Preparing and negotiating initial site budgets
• Procuring subcontractors and obtaining risk assessments, method statements, and safety documentation
• Coordinating site visits and inspections with management and subcontractors
• Making subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements
• Liaising with other departments and external consultants on cost issues
• Issuing interim payment applications to RSL Partners

Estimate Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per year.
