About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chemotherapy Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic and proficient oncology team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will serve as the clinical expert and professional resource for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct patient care and safely administer Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT)
  • Work closely with other site-specific Clinical Nurse Specialists and collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Provide holistic needs assessments and develop care plans for patients, referring to Level 3 or Level 4 psychological care providers as needed
  • Offer specialist advice and guidance to deliver clinically effective care to cancer patients and their families
  • Evaluate and assess patients' needs, treating, supporting, and referring as appropriate
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding in chemotherapy administration and associated toxicities
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration and no restrictions or conditions
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of working at a senior level within cancer services and SACT administration
  • Accredited SACT administration course and competency in the UKONS 24-Hour Triage Tool
  • Post-registration course in cancer care and excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
