We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Director to lead our procurement and supply chain functions. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the effective management of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies to drive business growth and improve efficiency
  • Lead a team of procurement and supply chain professionals to manage multi-million pound spend across various categories
  • Drive a make/buy approach and be involved in indirect procurement processes
  • Manage subcontractor relationships and strategic buying initiatives
  • Develop and implement SIOP/S&OP analysis and reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in supply chain and procurement leadership roles, preferably in the Aerospace and Defence industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategic initiatives
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and experience with SIOP/S&OP analysis and reporting
  • Security Clearance is not mandatory, but a plus in understanding the sector
