We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Care Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing essential physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of kindness and respect.
- Completed a Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Ability to work towards Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Background in person-centered care planning and knowledge of caring for people with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to get along with people.
- Ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
- Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG.
- £500 welcome bonus.
