Job Title: Adult Clinical Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Adult Clinical Lead to join our Intensive Support Team in Derbyshire. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering specialist, flexible, and responsive support for adults with learning disabilities who are at risk of hospital admission.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of service users, working closely with families, carers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the NHS and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in learning disability care.
  • Provide mentorship and supervision to junior staff members, promoting their professional development and growth.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (Learning Disability) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, including those with complex needs.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines, including the Mental Capacity Act and the Mental Health Act.
