As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our young people. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring that each young person receives the support and guidance they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people with challenging behavior
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the team
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of young people through regular monitoring and reporting
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people with challenging behavior (preferably in a residential setting)
  • Qualified to QCF level 3 in Children and Young People, or willing to work towards the qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer experience to an intermediate level
  • Full manual driving license
