Principal Technical Consultant - Environmental Fate

Environmental Fate Modelling and Risk Assessment Expert

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking an experienced Environmental Fate Modelling and Risk Assessment expert to join our team in Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who share a strong commitment to service excellence, while continuing to enhance the long-term relationships ERM has developed through supporting our clients in meeting their goals and objectives.

As a Principal Technical Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve successful registration by providing high-quality consultancy services in environmental fate modelling and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on environmental fate data, modelling, and study monitoring
  • Work closely with clients, represent ERM in client meetings, and respond to specific questions on environmental fate
  • Contribute to the commercial growth of the business through actively participating in business development activities
  • Peer review more junior work and advise on higher tier approaches to fate modelling and risk assessment
  • Ensure awareness of the latest developments in all areas of environmental fate modelling and risk assessment

Requirements:

  • Educated to at least degree level within Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of relevant EU regulations and guidelines, including EU data requirements for environmental fate studies
  • Experience in defending dossiers and in the preparation of position papers for EU regulatory bodies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment and across disciplines
